That is only half the story: clause 4.1 of the terms lists five fiat currencies — EUR, USD, CAD, AUD and NZD — next to 12 coins: BTC, ETH, BCH, LTC, DOGE, XRP, TRX, ADA, BNB, USDT, USDC and SOL.
Who runs it? The footer and the Terms and Conditions (version 1.0, effective 11 May 2026) name Saphirix Solutions SRL, a Costa Rica company registered under 3-102-933997 in San José. Its licence, number 0000091, was issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission. If a complaint to the casino goes nowhere, the terms send you to EGIS, an alternative dispute resolution service; formal arbitration happens only in Costa Rica.
That is an offshore set-up, not a New Zealand or Australian licence, and local complaint channels for licensed operators do not cover it.

Yes, as far as 7Bit's own rules go. New Zealand is not on the restricted-country list in clause 2.4 of the terms, and NZD is one of the account currencies in clause 4.1. You must be 18 or the local minimum age, whichever is higher (clause 2.2).
There is no New Zealand licence behind it, though, and the local rules are changing. The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) runs the new regime: the Online Casino Gambling Act took effect on 1 May 2026, regulations followed on 3 July 2026, and up to 15 licences will be issued. The licence auction is set for 29 September 2026, with the first licences due in early 2027. From 1 December 2026, operators that did not apply must stop offering online casino games to people in New Zealand. Advertising online casinos in New Zealand is already banned.
Did 7Bit apply? We don't know: the DIA does not publish the list of applicants. We will update this page after 1 December 2026.
For players, using an offshore casino is not an offence, according to the DIA. One rule comes from 7Bit itself: using a VPN to get around location checks breaks clause 3.2, and the casino can confiscate the balance.
